Stas Mikhailov admitted what kind of person he considers Pugacheva to be

The prima donna of Russian show business, Alla Pugacheva, is a great person, said singer and composer, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Stas Mikhailov behind the scenes of his anniversary concert “55,” a NEWS.ru correspondent reports. He added that any performer who has problems with his voice needs to find the strength within himself and leave the stage.

This is a great man. In my opinion, no one even came close to what she sang. What she experiences is her own, something she will end her life with. <...> Sometimes they ask me, just honestly, are you strong enough to leave? Today I said from the stage that my living voice is tired. If I can't sing, why would I stand on stage? We need to find the strength within ourselves, and not blame someone, but just say to ourselves – that’s it, thank you ,” the performer emphasized.

Mikhailov also emphasized that he never assessed any of his colleagues through the press, without publicly saying anything bad about them.

In March, Mikhailov expressed the opinion that all the artists who became famous in Russia, but in recent years went abroad, will after a while “ crawl on their knees ” back. On March 6, Pugacheva published a video on her social network page in which she commented on Mikhailov’s statement. According to the singer, the artists who went abroad are “normal people” and do not intend to return to Russia. She also suggested that Mikhailov “earn money while he can.”
