According to investigators, Borodin entered into a criminal conspiracy with Ivanov. They were on friendly terms, department officials say.

Also, the Basmanny Court of Moscow sent under arrest the former head of several companies subordinate to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Anton Filatov. He was accused of embezzlement on an especially large scale. According to media reports, Filatov worked at the Oboronlogistics company, one of whose curators was Timur Ivanov, who was arrested for bribes. According to the judge, while remaining at large, Filatov could hide, put pressure on witnesses, or eliminate evidence of illegal activities. The defendant was taken into custody for two months.
